The purchase order creation flow needs to be improved SIGNIFICANTLY.  Square does not have a report that can be exported to match the PO upload template, with data already populated. 

I spend a full day each week exporting the inventory sell-through report, then the item library, and then merging them in Excel to create the fields needed for the PO import template.

We have over 50 vendors and over 4000 items, so this is a really tedious process, prone to errors.

Additionally, I have to calculate the forecasted inventory requirement for each item.  Which is fine, as I'm sure each user would have a different method. But the existing sell-through report has a sales velocity field that is useless because it is in text format, and the field can be day, week, or month.  

If Square could append the existing inventory sell-through report with three additional fields: vendor name, unit cost, and vendor code, it would eliminate the need to merge two reports together and reduce errors.

Purchasing is a key process for retailers' success, and anything Square can do to improve this part of its system would be most welcome!
