Seeking help here. Our case is that we sell plants and while some are ready for sale, we hold back new arrivals until they are ready for sale. With this comes an issue we've run into...
We'd like to add these new arrivals to our stock count, and at the same time not have them available for sale since they are not ready (haven't rooted in to pots, leafed out, etc.)
Question: Is there a way to manually change the "available stock" without having to make a dummy invoice that "holds" the amount we don't want seen by customers online and staff at the register? We still need the "stock on hand" to show the total amount.
The other option we've thought of is just putting something like, "[Not available until after May 1st]" in the Item Name field.
