How to display Sales Summary by hour in new format?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: Daily Summary Reports in Gauge format?

Does anyone think the new Beta version of showing daily Sales Summary is useful?  I can not figure out why Square Inc, finds that using a gauge to show how our daily income is shared by Sales, Tips, Taxes, Fees is better than showing sales by the hour? I think showing hourly sales and WHEN we are most busy is far more valuable than what type of income or taxes or fees. In fact showing our sales by gauge or pie diagram is actually pointless.  Does anyone agree with me?

Thank you for your honest feedback, @higgles2 - I've passed this along to our Reporting Team.

It sounds like you're looking for the "Time of Day" graph, which was available in the old Sales Summary page. The new Sales Summary page has "Summary by hour", but will require just a couple of clicks to view.

1. From your Sales Summary page in Dashboard, click the 3 dots, shown below:



2. Once the Controls menu pops up on the right, click "Report Type".


3. Then, under, "Report Type", choose "Summary by Hour"
