Monthly Sales report should report NET sales, rather than gross sales (or at least let us choose)

It makes no sense to me to see the gross sales at the end of the month when many items sold that month were discounted. The NET sales, after discounts have been applies, are what matter for our bookkeeping -- the undiscounted price is irrelevant to our profit and a report that doesn't reflect the reality of the discount doesn't tell us anything meaningful. That makes the "handy" report pretty worthless because I need to actually drill down and figure out what the net sales were. 

Please change this aspect of the sales report! Especially in the version that gets sent out at the end of every month. I want to find that report useful, but, as it, it is virtually meaningless. 

I saw a post from 2022 in which a square user requested to be able to change in settings which number is shown in the report. The reply was promising, but it's been two years and there was no further reply and no sign that this improvement was made. So I'm raising the issue again.
