Ability to delete locations

I made a mistake and added an extra location. I do not want it in my drop down selection boxes. I want to remove the extra location not just deactive it! I want it gone!

To be able to permanently delete a location

As a new user of Square I try out new features, I accidentally added a location because my first location had issues linking to google. It's frustrating to not be able to delete the location when I entered it as a sample location. I also don't have a physical location for my business so I don't want extra locations there because it creates confusion for bookkeeping purposes. There should be a feature to completely just delete the location. I know there is an inactive feature but I don't want to see the location there.

 

I have same issue with invoices too as I created a wrong invoice which was sent then cancelled and is unable to delete which again affects my financial statements. 

 

Square should be more flexible and allow users to learn and make mistakes and then delete it.

I am frustrated with the location option. I am the owner and some how I am listed as the location. Now I cannot see my inventory or update my inventory. I am afraid to deactivate location for myself because I am concerned I may lose everything. All I want to do is see my inventory and update it.

Exactly my question for dashboard and also the fact that deleting a device is not available too. I'm writing this reply to let Square know that the lack of this feature is really annoying and could be a tiebreaker. Right now I'm running simulation tests using Square for my small store, haven't use it for any real transaction. And if you're saying that all my test locations and devices will stay forever visible in the dashboard, well I rather not continue.

This featuer needs added.  I set up 2 locations so I could charge 2 different prices, however both prices show up on the marketplace, so it's not really helpful at all.  I would like to delete the other locatin as it's becoming a pain to constantly have to choose a location for inventory.

Adding my voice to the chorus! We just joined square and during our on-boarding and training were directed to add locations, even though it turned out we didn't need to from a reporting stand point. Really hoping to have the ability to remove locations that we have NEVER used. Please advise.

I agree.  I set up my Etsy site as a location, my web site as a location, and my retail shop as a location.  However I have integrated my woocommerce site and my square POS and am having to do double and triple data entry as a result of square not knowing what location to put the inventory in, after it is imported from woocommerce.  HELP PLEASE

I am not sure how I even created another location. But how can I delete a location?

You can't delete it.   It's very frustrating.   Square is aware that several customers have asked for this but has done nothing about it.   I'm honestly at the point of using another pos, because it's very time consuming to constantly have to select  a location.

We don't have a time for if or when this feature will be available, but we can assure you that your feedback is being shared with our Product Team.

I'm also adding my voice to request the ability to delete a location. It should be that hard. I have deactivated locations, but they still show up when selecting the storefront causing confusion for my managers.

Add me to list of wanting to delete a location. I made it to test as an inventory option, but didn't like it. If you don't give the option to delete, can you at least make the inactive locations not show up.
