"Square is unable to approve your request"

I can't seem to register for an account; it says my information can't be verified. It seems like I've been permanently blocked; the message reads: 

"Thank you for signing up with Square. Unfortunately, you have not been approved to accept credit card payments. If you have any questions, please visit our extensive Help Centre." but I can't find anything helpful in the Help Centre??? Please help!!
