Is the cash drawer connected via a compatible printer? This is how printer driven cash drawers operate, they'll need to run via connecting to the RJ11 port on a compatible printer. You're unfortunately not able to connect it to the hub directly via the Ethernet network port there (which is for a wired internet connection).
At the moment Terminal is a self contained device running our POS app, so isn't able to be connected to the POS app running on an iPad - though this functionality is hopefully coming soon in a product update.
