Why are the numbered keypad buttons smaller on the iPhone Point of Sale App since updating the App?
The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Square's keypad on iphone problem
Hi, new to this forum, yesterday at an event the Square keypad on my iPhone decided to shrink, it is now so small it is hard to press the numbers without hitting the one beside it. I turned the phone off and on several times, deleted the app and re-installed several times then turned the phone on and off again, it is not going back to its' normal size, has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to change the size back to normal?? Thanks in advance.

I’ve just downloaded the latest version of the Square Point of Sale App (6.53.1) on my iPhone 13 - please see the screenshot below for reference:
Would you mind sharing a photo/screenshot of your Square App’s keypad?
Can you also please confirm what model of iPhone you’re using, and whether you’re running the latest iOS version (18.0.1)?

Hi,
I cannot seem to add a screenshot of my keypad, it won't let me download any photo or pdf.
My iphone is running 17.7 which i only updated to a few weeks ago, do I need to update to the 18.01 version?

Yes, please update your iPhone to iOS 18.01 when you can. Square Point of Sale app version 6.54 is also now available, so please update to this version from the app store at your earliest convenience.
If you're still experiencing issues after these updates, please let us know!

this is what the keypad looks like, I have updated the IOS, i will update the app again and see if that cures it.

Hi, I updated the app, turned the phone on and off a few times but there's been no change to the size of the keypad, any other suggestions?
