Refunding a customer without previous transaction in Square?
How do I issue a refund via Square without any previous transaction in Square? Customer paid for the original service via CC in another system, so no record at all in Square. I just want to enter their CC details manually and issue a refund for the full amount (about $200). Thanks,

Hi @CLASSTraining - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋
We can only refund transactions that were originally processed through Square. You’ll need to refund the customer outside of Square via another method. Or you could issue a gift card through Square as a store credit, as described here.
