Referral codes

Is there anyway of adding a referral code on after setting up an account?  My sister said to use Square (she’s been using it for a while) and it was only after I had set up our account that I realised she could have referred us and gained the benefits.

When you invite friends to join Square, you both benefit from reimbursed card processing fees. For each person who activates their account through your referral link, you’ll both receive reimbursements on processing fees up to $1,000 in sales over the next 180 days (6 months).

You’re able to create your own custom referral code, making it easier for you and potential new Square sellers to take advantage of our free processing programme.

1. From the Account & Settings section of your online Square Dashboard, click Get Free Processing.
2. Click Customise, located next to your referral code.
3. Enter

Since you missed this when you created your account - I would suggest reaching out to our Customer Support team and letting them know that your sister recommended you create you account but you missed the referral program and could they manually apply the free processing this one time - it shouldn't be a problem.
