Order confirmation screen showing physical address, when store is online only
Hi,
I've turned on local delivery for our website, and when I did a test purchase, on the confirmation screen for the customer appears a map showing our physical address, and the customers address. The map appears under the 'Thank you! We've received your order' section.
We are an online business only and have Location Type field populated as "Mobile Location" as we operate from a residential address which we would prefer not to make available to customers.
Question. Is there a way to disable the map from showing on the confirmation screen?

Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one - my first assumption would be that setting your location to mobile should prevent this from appearing on your website, as it does on your Square receipts etc.
Do you offer pickup or is this option turned on by any chance?

Hi my business is mobile (in square settings too) and I don't have an actual store, however my home address I used to set up my square + local delivery shows in the email footer in all of my order/store emails such as the confirmations. I find this very unsafe and turned off the accepting orders until I can figure this out. I also don't have a business phone number and it appears in the emails too. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear your home address is displaying in your order confirmation emails.
I merged your thread with this existing one as it appears to highlight the same issue. I'm hoping @kerrishanks may be able to give us an update as to whether they were able to get a resolution here, in the meantime I'd also suggest getting in touch with support per the above contact methods. If they're able to resolve this for you, I'd also be keen to know what setting governs the display of this information. It sounds like you've already got your business location set to "Mobile", which is what I also initially thought would impact whether or not we showed address/phone information.

I was just looking at the same thing, and reading all related questions in this thread this might be the one I can help with!
I have changed my address in LOCATION settings to Online and Mobile for the street address and Brisbane as the suburb with 4000 as the postcode (as all of these fields are required) - and receipts etc. now reflect this instead of my home address where my business is located. Hopefully this will help @Gemmarw1 too!
Unfortunately, I am unable to help with @kerrishanks issue, I am unable to reproduce the map displaying while settings reflect my location type as "Mobile".
I hope you've been able to reopen your store in the meanwhile, but this will work as a temporary fix until Square automatically hides your physical address (and not just the map) when your business has a location type of mobile!

Regarding @kerrishanks issue, from looking at this again on my end, I can confirm the map is continuing to display as part of the default confirmation messaging. I suggest touching base with one of our Square Online specialists by reaching out to our Support Team directly, and they'll be able to take a closer look at this with you.

Howdy! I am in the process of setting up my online store, However when I go to set up my shipping for my customers square want me to put my business address (Store address), I run my business from my house and don't want my customers to know my personal house address is there a way around this?

I went ahead and moved your post to this thread which has a very similar request - unfortunately though it doesn't look like we ever found a clear solution here.
The location settings I refer to in an older post can be found here - try marking the business as mobile, this hides the address from your Square receipts and invoices, though I've not yet been able to confirm if this works in the same manner for Square Online.
If this doesn't work out I'd recommend getting in touch with support on 1800 760 137. Lines are open Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time. You will be able to speak with a Square Online specialist who can hopefully provide some more help if changing your location to "mobile" doesn't help!

This is an easy fix, you will find the solution under the Fulfillment tab, simply mod the desired settings for location here to prevent it from showing Pickup Location, you will also find in this section your shipping cost add to items, simply make a shipping profile with desired info.
Only worked that out this morning myself, please try help me with my current queries.
