Help! So some of our products have options, then options with those options and more options within those options. When we are serving customers face to face and using the POS, the options come up as skus. (Which means, i have to go through 50+ skus to find the correct product, then scroll all the way down to add qty then add to cart.
Then do it again, 10 times for the other items purchased.
So is there a way for items with multiple (5+) options,
the pop-up product window to stay there, and MAYBE have 2 buttons,
1.add to cart (so we can keep adding sizes/options?)
2.add to cart & close
And maybe have the qty -/+ at the top of the screen.
Hi @THE_LASH_STORE,
Thanks for writing in to the Seller Community, we love seeing new faces here, welcome!
I can see how having items with multiple options would be a hassle when you've got a lot of options for each item. Just to clarify, you'd be wanting to have the option to have the ability to keep adding further options, instead of having to find the item again to add it to cart?
I'm also wondering if you have a scanner at all? This could make adding items a bit easier as a workaround. Looking forward to hearing back from you 🙂
Hi Arie!
thank you for the welcome
For example, we sell lash trays, the main category is 2D, 3D, 4D all up to 10D
then there is a curl option
C or D
then their is 3 different diameter options
then there are the sizes, which branch out for each of the above options.
so if someone is buying multiple sizes of different curls and different diameters, (let’s say 20 items by all 5D)
thats 20 times I need to go in, find the items, add (window closes) open again find, add (windows closes) x 20
At the moment no barcode system, I wouldn’t even know where to start with that to be honest.
Thanks for describing how your options work in a bit more detail, @THE_LASH_STORE!
You mentioned that you're already using SKUs, so you could create labels externally via an online barcode generator, or via Square for Retail. If you'd like to avoid sticking barcodes to all your lashes, you could also have a laminated sheet with all the barcodes next to your point of sale to make scanning easier. You can check out some compatible scanners with the Point of Sale here. Please let us know if you have any further questions 🙂
