Is it possible to search customer notes for items that are back in stock?

If I create a contact for someone that doesn't purchase and I write notes in their card of what styles they liked is there a way to search those notes.

For example customer liked an out of stock style.

Style comes back into stock, so I want to do a search of the style name to get a report of all customers that have that style recorded in their notes?

Good question, @JemDesigns!

At the moment, we don't have the ability to search for customer notes or specific keywords within the Customer Directory, beyond personal details like names or email addresses. It sounds like you're looking for a feature that would automatically notify customers when an item is back in stock.

While this feature isn't available, you can set a reminder for yourself within a customer note. The reminder will appear as a push notification on your device, as well as an in-app alert in your 'Notifications' tab, showing the customer's name and note text. You can set this reminder when you create the note, or go back later to add follow-up reminders as needed.

To add a note and set a reminder from your app, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the customer profile, scroll down the page to 'Notes' and select 'Add Note'.
2. Enter your text and select the ellipses (three dots) at the top to 'Add reminder'. Enter the date/time and select 'Add'.
3. Select 'Save' to apply the changes.

Additionally, there are a few manual methods you can use to manage notifications for your customers:

1. Manual Notification:
If youโ€™ve collected customer emails or phone numbers through your website or in-store interactions, you can manually reach out to them when the item is restocked.

2. Email Campaigns: Square offers email marketing tools that allow you to send out newsletters or announcements. You could create a campaign notifying your customers when the item is available again.

I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. ๐Ÿ™‚

I know how to use the reminder feature it's a not from ages ago that I need to find. I used reminders to notify there was no stock but that was 12 months ago and hadn't set a new reminder.

Is there a way to download all data from all card files so notes come with it as when I did it no notes came so also can't see it that way?
