Is it possible to import custom attributes?

Is it possible to import custom attributes into Square using the Import Library tool?

If not, is there any other way to quickly import mass data that includes additional information, for example: a book author, publisher, published date etc?

I don't believe custom attributes can currently be imported/exported. IT's being tracked (export anyhow) as a feature here:

There is also mention of the bulk edit functionality, which by the nature of your data, doesn't look like it would help you much.

I think you could probably achieve what you want via the API directly, but this would require someone to write the code to do it.
