Thank you for your reply! I tried all above with still no luck...kept googling and worked out I had to turn off 'developer options' in my phones settings.
All working now. Thanks again! 😊

Hey @Limetree66 👋
You can give your Square Reader a reset by following these steps:
- Hold the button on the bottom of the reader for 15-20 seconds.
- When you see 4 red lights, release the button. Keep in mind the lights will flash orange first - you'll want to hold them down til they flash red.
- Tap on the button one time to get green lights.
You might also want to disconnect the reader from your current phone's Bluetooth settings if you've tried to unsuccessfully pair it through there. Here's how:
- Open the settings on your device.
- Tap on Bluetooth.
- Locate the reader under "My Devices".
- Tap on the blue "i" next to the reader.
- Tap on "Forget This Device".
- Exit the settings without tapping anything else.
Next, open your Square point of sale app and pair your reader anew. Please let me know how you go.
PS. I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community!

I removed the device to anew the pairing and gone into the app and then tapped on the 3 lines > Settings and there is not hardware to tap on. Have you got another way to pair both device and reader?
