How do I get Support ?
Hi, I’ve been trying all morning to get support. I’ve called the phone support but the automated robot says enter your customer code and when I do Enter it it says that’s not a valid customer code.
very frustrated.
just need help to connect my square reader which has dropped out since yesterday after an update. Live chat; isn’t live chat., I sent An email which hopefully will get back in 24 hours, which seems a long time when I’ve got what should be a quick fix if I just Had someone to help me with it.
ive spent almost 2 hours on this.
Very frustrated.
can anyone there help me, guide me to how I get faster Help from square support ?

Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear about the trouble reaching out to our support team. There's currently a National Day of Mourning public holiday in Australia, which is why our phone support team is not available.
In regards to your Square Reader, which device are you pairing it to e.g an iPhone, or tablet? Have you had a chance to go through these troubleshooting steps yet? Also, give forgetting your reader from your device, and resetting your reader a try:
- Hold the button on the bottom of the reader for 15 seconds.
- When you see 4 red lights, release the button. Keep in mind the lights will flash orange first - keep holding until the lights are red.
- Tap on the button one time to get green lights.
Next, pair your reader in-app again. Please let us know how you go!
