Feature Request - Skip thanks page after POS sale
Hi everyone,
After the sale > customer receipt pages, Square displays a "Thanks" page. Tapping anywhere immediately takes you back to the POS screen but this will automatically happen after a few minutes as well.
My question is: can I either skip the thanks page entirely or set the auto function back to POS screen to happen after a second/immediately?

Thanks for getting in touch.
I'm not sure there is a way to skips this - at the end of the sale from the receipts screen we always recommend pressing "New Sale" to go back to the start.
Happy to see if I can find any more info about this though, are you able to share a screenshot of the screen you're seeing?
I tested with our free POS app on an iPhone and iPad and it went to the receipt screen with the option to hit 'New Sale", however I didn't see a "Thanks" page in the flow. I'm wondering if maybe you're using a different app (eg Restaurants) or product (eg Square Loyalty) that may throw up a different screen there?

That takes us to the "thanks" page that we want to skip:

Apologies it's taken a while to get back to you, I've been out of office until now.
I tested this again after updating the app and it looks like this is how it's working for me as well now.
I'll pass your feedback on and use this thread to track any further requests of the same nature - it would be understandably preferable to have the option of turning this off to speed up your transaction flow!

I support the removal of this additional screen it just increase the time between sales and added extra steps.
It slows down the processes
