Hi @cjj!

In your Square online dashboard (using a computer, not mobile / tablet), there should be a 'Devices' button in your main menu on the left hand side of your screen.

This is a link directly to it once you're logged in: Square Dashboard (squareup.com)

You may find this device showing in here, in which case delete it and then you should be able to re-add it using the regular connecting process (assuming its a Reader, you can hold down the little button until it flashes ready to re-pair to Bluetooth).

If the device isn't showing in here, it may already have disconnected itself, in which case try and re-pair again.

Alternatively if you're still having issues, reach out to Square on 1800 760 137 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time) – noting the public holidays they are closed for Easter.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tips! My team member could see the device in their dashboard but wasn't able to delete there - actions greyed out. All solved with reset now - hadn't worked a few times at first but probably was skipping a step.

Hey CJJ,

Resetting a square reader is as easy as holding down the button for 10 seconds, it will flash orange and ready to pair with a new device.

Cheers,

Chris

Thank you solved now using reset - which hadn't worked a number of times -  but realised it was due to specific sequence of reset, force quit, recheck bluetooth sequence.
