Can I have 2 Businesses on 1 Square account and use 1 Reader?

I have 2 businesses:-

Play Discover Learn (already set up with square), plus

Happy Colour. 

Do I need 2 separate accounts and 2 readers or is there a way to set both businesses up on the same account and use the same reader.

Want to be able to issue invoices for Happy Colour with that information and logo and use the reader when out and about and the receipt being issued has the Happy Colour information on it.

Thanks for writing back in to the community!

You can use the one reader, for both your businesses - however, you'd need to create a second Square account for your other business in order for the information to display on your receipts. Remember to sign in and out of your Square account to make sure you're taking payments for the right business.

G'day. My name is Brendan Conder, and i am *fairly* new to square. I've had the account for 6 years minimum, but i've never investigated it. I'm doing such now. I have just 2 questions:

1. I own 2 businesses. How can i incorporate them both under the one account? (Not signing up twice)
2. is that possible?

You could consider creating an additional location under the one Square account if you have more than one business location, e.g Arie's Bar Melbourne, Arie's Bar Brisbane and so on. For two different businesses, you'd have to create a new account.
