teenage seller accepting payments

Hi everyone

I'm setting up an online shop for my 13 year old daughter to sell her hand-made bracelets. Has anyone any experience of this? Is the tax rate for her zero as she is a teen? We're looking to set up a Lloyds account for her to accept payment or is there a better option?

Thank you for any help.

Hi @kengray, that's really exciting!

One thing to note: Square follows current credit card processing regulations, which requires that our customers be at least 18 years of age.

With regards to tax, we are unable to provide any tax advice. It might be best to consult a tax professional who will be able to advise you further.

Also so long as you’re over 18 and control/own the account it should be alright

The Lloyds account should work fine as I assume square pays into whatever account you list that is verified, and don't quote me on it but if its all her, tax should be able to be 0
