payout of credit card tips to employees

My restaurant/bar employees collect credit card tips during each shift and at the end, they currently take a cash payout to cover the amount of CC tips accumulated that shift.  Since the vast majority of transactions use credit cards, the end of shift tip payouts of those CC tips often consumes all our available cash.  How can we can do a direct transfer of the CC tips to our employees' bank accounts rather than paying them out in cash every shift?

Hi @berkeleyraleigh. The only thing I can think of here would be for all of your employees to download Square’s Cash App and set up an account. You would do the same and link yours to your business bank account or debit card. At the end of each day you would send the tips to each of your employees. They could then move that money to their linked personal bank account. Otherwise I know of no daily direct deposit option through Square.

Of course, this would work with any cash app, not just Square’s. You could do it via Venmo, too, for example.
