Manually entered customers without login

I manually entered all my appointments/customers to change over from a previous booking system. Can my clients access their details via a login and update their profile with their card details. Or will they have to create a new login and my directory will have duplicates?

Hi @TalkSwansea, welcome to the Seller Community!

 

When your customer books an appointment, it won't create a new profile. If the information the customer entered matches a customer profile, you will see it on your Appointment Dashboard. 

 

All the previous appointments won't appear on your customer account as this was not processed on our system. However as soon as they book their first appointment, they will be able to create their customer account and manage their appointments and add/update their card on file.

 

In case there is a duplicate account, you will see a red notification on your Dashboard and you can always merge them. To learn more, please visit our Support Centre here
