Hi Everyone,
I have just enabled Local Delivery option but i seem to have ran into a few issues and wondered if any one else may have found a work around for my errors.
Our physical store is open 11am till 2pm everyday Monday to Friday i want to offer the local delivery for deliveries between those times but i want to have a cut of time for orders being place where orders must be placed before 1pm to get same day local delivery.
For example i want any order placed the same day before 12pm still to have a delivery window of between 11am till 2pm. So if a customer places an order for local delivery and the order goes through at 11.30am and we have a 15 minute prep time i wanted the local delivery window to show same day local delivery will be between 11.45am till 2pm which accounts for the 15 minute prep time... I hope that makes sense.
Would love anyones input as i've tried every option on the local delivery setting and i can't get it to show how i would like.
thanks ☺️

We currently don't have a feature that lets you apply a cut-off time for Deliveries. This would be a feature request, which you can file here. But after performing many tests with my fulfilment settings, I was able to find a workaround.
The trick to mimic a cut off time for the way you operate, is to apply a processing time of 1h. This way, customers who order after 1pm will only have their orders delivered on the following day, considering you stop deliveries at 2pm. However, the limitation is that customers who place an order at 11:30am, will see the closest delivery option from 12:30pm that same day.
I've taken a screenshot of the settings so you can more easily reproduce it on your end:

That’s a small window of availability. How many orders can you deal with in that time period?
