I am now very confused, my discounts in Square are now syncing to Square online despite everyone (here and Square) saying this isnt a function?
Is this permanant or an error made in an update?

Apologies for any confusion, this is a new feature!
You can access and apply automatic discounts you create from your online Square Dashboard to the items that you offer on your Square Online website. To do so:
- From your Square Item Library, go to Discounts.
- Select Create a Discount to enter discount details including a discount name, amount (either a percentage or whole amount) and applicable locations.
- From the ‘Automatic discount’ section, toggle on Discount rules and select a discount type. Note: Customer group discounts and Square category discounts won’t apply to Square Online sites.
- Save to apply the changes.
The discounts that you create will be available on your live Square Online site. Learn more about creating discounts for Square Online items, and how to create and manage discounts from your Item Library.

Thank you, Only on Monday i asked about it as it worked then but turned off on Tuesday.

Hey @Vincent84, just stepping in for Breffni while she is out of office.
If you have your discounts set up so that they are available for in-person payments and payment on your Website, they should not turn off unless you have switched it off yourself from your Discount settings on your Square Dashboard. Is the issue still happening on your end?
