Cash/Card on delivery

If i take an order over the phone and the customer wants to pay cash or card on delivery (takeaway business) is there a way i can take the order on Square POS and then charge the customer upon delivery?

Yes, take the order and click Save Ticket. Give it a name and any notes. When they come to collect click tickets and choose correct one (if there are a few)
