AUTOMATED EMAILS BASED ON PRODUCT PURCHASED

I am looking to intiate automatic emails, that i have pre-designed, that go out once an item has been purchased. The email would be unique to the purchased item. is this possible?

This should be possible with the Weebly Promote feature. With this, you should be able to setup automated email sequence based on customer's actions.

I need to somehow find a way of sending different emails for different items purchased via our online shop - at the moment the same order confirmation email is sent out regardless of what item is purchased.

If you're looking to edit the order confirmation email for your Square Online site, this is the better article for it. One thing to note: at the moment, the confirmation email is changed based on the fulfilment method chosen and not the item itself.

Thank you for the above, but what I need to work out (if it is possible) if I can set different order confirmation emails to generate based on the type of item?  Is this possible?

 

If not, could I set-up 2 different order confirmation emails if the fulfillment methods are different e.g. one for postage, one for collection?

It is not possible to set different order confirmation emails based on the type of items @ryarshPTFA

 

The same order confirmation email is sent to customers but, depending on their fulfilment methods they've selected, different information will be generated so they'll either see Pickup Instructions (which will included information or direction you have for pickup orders) or Shipping Information included in the email.

Thank you.  Is it possible to switch off the email confirmations altogether so no automatic order confirmation email is sent out when an order is placed?

Sorry, one more question.  If an invoice is sent to request payment (rather than a direct online order) would the same order confirmation email be sent out automatically once the invoice had been settled?

I look into this on my end and there isn't a way to switch off the order confirmation email altogether @ryarshPTFA. The emails would only be sent if customers have made a purchase through the website.

 

If you are sending an invoice, then a different email will be sent out. The email will be the invoice you have created but denoted with Paid at the top with the date it was processed. Here's a sample screenshot.

You can customise the colour and branding from your Dashboard.
