Searching for items with vendor code containing hyphens - does not work properly

Search functionality with - 

I create a lot of purchase orders with vendor item numbers. They come in many different formats, some letters "DOBUSBRN", some numbers "523456", some letters and numbers "D35931". They call all be searched for with  great precision. Except for when (and the most common format for me) they contain a "-" example: "102-3557"

Any item containing a - makes search almost unusable listing items not even associated with the code. I believe this is a bug, but I could be wrong...

This is a very interesting report @JTPets. Seeing that no one else has shared their experience with this I am going to suggest reaching out to our Support team so they can confirm if this is indeed a bug (it sure looks like one)  When you get a chance, please reach out here.

Whoever fixed this issue, Thank you very much, it appears to be corrected today
