Hey everyone, happy new year! I hope your 2024 is off to a fantastic start. ๐
I wanted to share some thoughts on intentions: A key theme for me right now is staying connected to my local community. In the midst of uncertainty inevitably tied to an election year and โ on a personal note โ slowly recovering from back surgery, I find myself reflecting on: "What can I control?"
For this next trip around the sun, I'm committing to small, consistent actions outside like a weekly trash pickup (check it out on Instagram!) and monthly community garden upkeep. Additionally, I'm making an effort to engage more with our local government leaders (e.g. attending town halls and committee meetings). These actions are not about perfection, but about giving it my all with the energy I have โ not to mention a great way to meet people!
