why does my square restaurant pos does not allow me to refund cash transactions?

it doesn't let me do cash refunds through the pos and I have to do it from the dashboard, but I would like this to be fixed since it is such a bother! someone help

Are you getting and error message when refunding? Can you explain what happens?
