Hello!
I run a non-profit, Taos Initiative for Life Together [TiLT], that has had since 2019 an existing Square account to accept donations. Occasionally, donations flow into TiLT's bank account from this portal by donors going to taostilt.org and clicking on the donate tab on the far right.
In late 2020, TiLT incubated a micro-business called the Repurposing Plastic Project. Because we wanted the funds to flow into TiLT's bank account, I created a Repurposing Plastic Project webpage on TiLT's existing Square site and set it up to sell three tiers of membership. I published this page to a new URL, repurposingplastictaos.com. Money comes daily into the TiLT bank account as members sign up for our new recycling service at repurposingplastictaos.com.
Now the micro-business has its own bank account and is standing on its own two feet. It needs its own Square site through which money can go to its own bank account, not TiLT's. Through the email [email protected] I have created a separate Square account, created an identically-looking web page, and want to publish it to the URL repurposingplastictaos.com [where the pre-existing Square account owned by TiLT is currently published.
How do I release my first Square account from this URL, and replace it with my new Square account, which i want to publish to this URL?
A million thanks for your prompt reply!

Hello @tiltcoordinator. Welcome to the Seller Community!
Thank you for providing details on what you are trying to accomplish with your new site. In your case, we will need to move the URL.
Please log into the first site and update the site address under Website > General Settings. Once the domain is free from the first site you can log into the new site and repeat the steps.
Hope this helped!
