A customer complained that their square appointment reminder has the same text number as their other salon. And therefore, they get confused about if the reminder is for the salon or us. Why would square use the same number to text from different businesses?
Hi @animalkingdom - All of our Appointments notifications are pushed through from the same number. This is simply due to how the third-party text forwarding system we use works and it cannot be changed on our end. However, your client is always given any necessary information on what business the notification comes from with a link attached so they can view more details. You also have full control of the content of the message and can change the wording to differentiate your business from others, if needed. To do this, just head to your Communication settings within your Appointments dashboard.
