Hi, we have been using our Square up keypad for many months, it had an update and ever since we have to press the touch screen quite hard which we didn't do before. We are also not able to delete items by swiping anymore. The other change was that the weather has been extreme icy and we use the machine out doors. It is very frustrating. Can anyone help please 🙏 Julie

It sounds like you might be using a Square Register. Is that correct? Can you check if there are any software updates pending? If everything is up to date, we may need to try a factory reset.
On the Register, select ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > General from the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap About Register. From this page, you’ll see your software version and update availability.
Regarding the issue with deleting items, could you confirm which software you're using—Point of Sale, Retail, or Restaurants? I’ll be able to test this out tomorrow and get back to you.
Also, do you think the cold weather might be affecting the Register’s performance or causing the lag? @Donutking
