register onscreen keyboard

Has anyone noticed any issue when doing the following on the Square Register:

• Inputting items that require selecting just a radio button (like category)
  • but the on-screen keyboard shows up
• Some items require a text input (and this normally calls the on-screen keyboard to launch)

I noticed this start to happen several months back (maybe after an update? not sure): in using the Square Register when entering an inventory item...

In the past the on-screen keyboard only showed up when I needed to type text, but I don't remember it showing up when only a radio button choice was required.

This isn't a big problem (only a minor annoyance in toggling off the keyboard), but when inputting a large number of new items it would be a time saver if the keyboard only showed up when required.

Hmm, it sounds like you're running into a bug. Have you tried any Register troubleshooting?

When we're ringing on the square register, sometimes the keyboard appears for an unknown reason then stays up until you minimize it- really interrupts the flow

Hey @spnick- Going along with what @JustinC has to say here. If you've tried any troubleshooting but this is continuing to happen, it may be worth reaching out to our Support team in the off chance that this is a bug.
