payment suspended? Moderate risk?

this is really annoying

recently, we adopted using online payment link for our customers who aren't located in Brisbane. every payment received were classified as moderate risk (complete BS). Then i enabled risk manager in account setting. apparently, it was because sqaure did not have their billing address.

The thing is there is NO place for customers to filled in their address. 

verification process is extremely annoying and time consuming, it has been 5 days after the payment made.

my advise for businesses which might have big transaction ($1000+ /order) to stay away from square.

I can appreciate that having your Square account reviewed can be a stressful experience but I hope to be able to provide some more context around this process.

Due to the nature of Square being a card processing company we need to learn about businesses and the types of goods and services they are providing. We do this to make sure we are maintaining a safe and secure card processing environment across all of our Square accounts for both our merchants and their customers.

If you have recently updated the method in which you process the majority of your payments, this may have triggered a review from the Account Services team, as it indicates a change in your business model.
 

A typical review takes 1-2 business days once all of the required information has been submitted. Once we’ve reviewed the information, an agent will send you an email letting you know when to expect those funds. 

In this case, I can see from looking at your Square account on our end that the review has been completed and any holds on your Square transfers have been lifted as of 21/03/23.
