I'm trying to get my square POS and website set up and for some reason square thinks I am in Britain. I tried changing my address but it kept telling me that the phone number was incorrect and I need a vat number but we don't use them here.
Are you using a VPN that might be locating you to GB? Even your avatar in this question shows that flag.
I use a VPN and every so often I am located in Britain and Square asks if I want to use the US board instead. No all the time but often enough. I try to connect my VPN in NY or NJ for speed but every so often I end up in another country not knowing why. So I agree with @BrainArtist that a VPN might be the issue.
