marketing connection not private

I just set up my online store for the first time and sent out a marketing email to announce it. I copied the web address and included in the email.

When you click the link, you get the nasty, "this connection is not private" and on and on about hackers wanting to steal credit cards. Great. 

Any ideas what I did wrong? This not a good way to start this with my customers.

This definitely sounds weird and I haven't heard of any cases of this before.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of this error that I could send over to the Weebly team?

Sometimes too- errors like that can happen depending on the browser your customers are using. I've gotten that on my phone before when I clicked a link from a legitimate company's email because it's a link on a mobile device.
