We have one of the older white square stands, but NOT the oldest model. We have the one with the screw on the lower left side, and the ipad can't be popped out without removing it. We have a problem with our ipad that requires a restart, but the staff can't figure out how to remove this oddly shaped screw. Is there a tool for this? They couldn't find one, and I don't remember having anything that would remove this type of screw. Does it NOT require a tool? I can't find instructions for removing the ipad ANYWHERE online to send them, and I'm out of town right now. Can someone please help with this asap? Thank you!
@newusername Obviously this post is too late to help you. Sorry for the delay, but I own an ice cream shop and yesterday (being a holiday Sunday) was off the hook. And, of course, being a holiday weekend most of us are either very busy or taking a well deserved break, like it seems you are. Anyway, as I recall that is not a screw but rather a post that is on a spring. It can be pulled out easily to allow the iPad to be removed.
