@Traderal You can no longer use that iPad generation. Apple does not support iOS12 on that model, and many of Square’s new features require functionality that is only available on iOS 12 and newer. I’m sorry to say that you’ll need to upgrade to an iPad model that supports iOS12. When you do, it would be a good idea to get as recent a model as you can afford since Apple keeps dropping supported models with every iOS release, and iOS 16 is coming out in a few weeks.
