how do i become eligible for afterpay when my terminal says ineligible

the funny thing is that afterpay have said i can be a merchant and have done everything they have asked and been approved but for some reason they cant help with the square terminal i have to go through square to sort it out so i have spent the last hour messaging them and i get told im not eligible due to my business type which is carpet cleaning and yet a mate of mine is also a carpet cleaner and guess what he is eligible and can accept afterpay ,apparently the way around it is to use a different terminal which i am currently looking into
