how do I change the order of items listed on the order screen

My items entered in the order that I added them. Now that I have been opened for a few months.  I want to rearrange the order to the items that I sell the most.  Has square changed the system to allow this?  I read a thread from 2017 that said it could not be done.

Hey there, @cherrus

I want to make sure I am fully understanding what you're looking for.

You're able to organize your Item Grid on your tablet in whatever manner you wish. Check out this Support Article with more information on how to get this done.

If this isn't what you were looking for, please let me know. I am happy to circle back!

faves is not a solution for desktop or invoices. the items list needs to have drag and move to reorder them.

@SJW, I'm not entirely clear on your response. Could you please elaborate so that I can offer the most accurate solution?

this is a tedious solution, but it worked for me because I have only 5 items to move. If you go (on desk top. it doesn't give you this option on cell or ipad) to EDIT> then number each one, they will reorder themselves. when you add an item, it adds it willy-nilly or in the order you add. by numbering each item, they will arrange by number order because the items are auto arranged alphabetically. i hope this makes sense. indeed, they do need to apply a touch/hold and move action to this problem.  do you hear me square? I really love you, and appreciate your excellent service 🐵
