HELP! I sell art kits with different variations. Right now, when my clients go to check out, they are only able to choose multiples of one variation in one transaction. For example, if someone wants a boy gnome art kit, they can order as many as they'd like in one transaction. But if they want a boy gnome and a girl gnome kit, they have to do two completely separate and time-consuming transactions. How do I fix this? - Thanks
@artyourway Square treats variations as individual items. I would break your items up into categories where the category is "art kit" and the items are your variations. If it is online, you could do instructions to add the item and then variation, but the customer would have to go back and grab another item and choose the second variation. You can use modifiers, but each art kit will still have to be added to the cart with a different variation or modifier.
I would make sure you have it allowed to add items to cart. In your online store dashboard go to shared settings ----> checkout ----> edit advance settings....make sure it is set to "add to cart" and not "buy now".
Hope this helps,
