font controls

Hi,

I built a square up store and put several items on it.

None of the items will allow me to use the font controls. I can see them but they are grey'ed out. Have a professional plan and want to put a hyperlink on the page where they are but cannot do this since the text editor only allows text.

The font size and the font types do however allow you to change the font. Tried this on the item page in the store, the item detail page and every page you can access and edit items in your store on.

Very frustrating but I'm sure there is some basic reason why this and would appreciate any assistance.

Sounds like you're trying to edit the item descriptions, yes? If so, the font controls won’t work unless you stop syncing descriptions to Square (Online Store Dashboard > Settings > Square Sync)

Perhaps you can disable the sync for the sake of using rich text editing,  then turn it back on after you're done. However, I haven't tested this - It’s possible that any styling changes you've made might be removed. Worth a shot tho. 

Let us know how it goes if you decide to test it out.
