error message during online checkout

My customers sometimes are getting error messages while attempting to input their information during checkout. They claim they select United States but it will not work for them. This has happened four times in the past week. A lot of my customers are not tech savy, but it would be nice to know how to fix it for them.

What's your website's URL? There could be a JavaScript conflict or browser related issue.

I agree with @Nexus_Software 's request to see your website to make sure there isn't any configuration issues, but I also have one idea.

 

You mentioned that they're selecting United States. The only time that I have found that they have to select that is when it comes to entering their phone number. If this is where they're getting hung up, make sure that the +1 is not entered in their phone number. If they're entering +1 then the number the site will error out. Have them only enter the number and they should be good to go.

 

I've found that a lot of my non-tech savvy people rely on the OS to autofill their phone number, and depending on how their phones are set up it will have the +1 automatcially in there.
