We are a small ice cream shop using the square stand system. All of our categories are correct with the correct modifier options listed for each of them, however when we click an option it says something else on the ticket first then list the correct option. For example, if we click “small cone, chocolate” it will say Twist: Small cone; Chocolate. It always says twist, regardless if we clicked it or not and has lead to a lot of confusion when making orders. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Thank you!!
Hi @Scoopt it sounds like you have an item named Twist that is getting modifiers attached to it. What you would need to do is separate the item Small Cone and Twist and this should fix the issue for you.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if not. If this doesn't fix the issue, can you please response with a screenshot of that specific item so I can take a closer look? Thank you!
Hi @AshleyK ! thank you for the response, but this wasn’t the case for us.
This picture shows how we set up (using modifiers) and how the ticket read when I put a “Small Dish, Vanilla” is shown below.
As you can see, it always shows twist. “Twist” is not a category or item on its own, so we don’t know where it came from! Thanks!
@Scoopt have you reached out to our Support Team yet? If you know for a fact that your "twist" modifier isn't automatically applied (it doesn't look like it is), then this may be a bug that needs to be filed with engineering.
