Will changing the owner account's email cause it to merge with existing editor account?

Hello,

I have a Weebly account, "[email protected]," that owns a website and a separate editor's account, "[email protected]," for that website.  I want to merge both accounts and set "[email protected]" as the website owner. 

Is it as simple as going to the owner account's settings and changing the email?

Answering my own question:

When I tried to change the original owner's account, I got an error message stating that the new email address was already in use. So, I had to change the "b" account to a third email address, "[email protected]," before I could go back to "a" and change the account's email address to "b".
