Why wont my inventory update when I do a restock?
Hi @SAgrocery I'm really sorry to read that you were having trouble with your inventory and online store. Are you still experiencing trouble? We may need to try some browser troubleshooting and also, are you checking and updating your inventory from the Square Dashboard or the Online Store tab?

Square won't hold/save new stock inventory (Units of product) number of a product when entered into the inventory list when editing for received product shipment

Sorry for the delay.
Is this occurring when you're entering stock received/units via the Square app? Or in the Square Online Dashboard?

Thank you for the reply IsabelleM. The updated inventory amount (i.e. New Stock Received) won't hold/save when I am updating from my computer and/or iPad via the Square Dashboard. What is somewhat perplexing to me is that I can update the inventory amount for new stock received via my cell phone (which I am guessing is the "Square App"). This issue of not being able to update my inventory amount started about 3 weeks ago (roughly the first of Feb.)

Thank you for your reply. This is not a known issue currently.
Could it be browser issues? Are you using Google Chrome? If not, definitely try using it, and making sure your cache and search history are clear. Let me know if that doesn't work, then we can escalate this further.

We may need a bit more info from you regarding what you are seeing for us to be most helpful here. Are you trying to update your Inventory from the Online Dashboard? Or are you using the POS app? If you could also describe the exact issue you are seeing, that would be helpful!

I am having the same issue. I am using my desk top to enter stock and update inventory and it will not save the new inventory count, or an updated price. I am having to use my hand held square terminal to actually change and save the updates.
I am having the same issue this morning. everything but the inventory stock is updating. you put in the stock amount and hit save but then it goes back to 0 count. tried several times. even restarted my computer. help. I have a lot of inventory to get tickets on today!

It looks like we did receive a few reports of this issue from our Customer Success team, and these cases were resolved by walking through these Dashboard Troubleshooting steps. When you get a moment, would you mind giving them a shot?
All of our inventory stock updates we entered into to weebly yesterday evening did not stick. And now this morning the weebly mobile site is not even opening. Anyone else?

I am adding 2 stock per item in my store. But it doesn't show up and when published I can add more than 2 to my shopping cart. I am going from the Weebly editor to the square up.
It seems that as soon as I got the Weebly account, my square up has changed and nothing is working as it used to be, so frustrating. Please help.

I moved your post to an existing thread where other sellers were experiencing the same thing.
Check out the Best Answer above and do the browser troubleshooting in the link @AshleyK provided as we've found that typically fixes the issue.
I am able to add in new inventory but not update the stock. Is there a glitch in the system this weekend?

We don't have reports of an outage, or issue for inventory restocks at the moment. Have you had a chance to try the troubleshooting steps in this thread yet?

We have tried the Browser Troubleshooting steps that were suggested, but still are not able to update stock (online via the Dashboard.) This is my first time using Square and it's a bit of trial by fire. 😕

I cannot get my stock to show on my online checkout. Everything says "out of stock" on the website even though I have added stock

Yeah I dont know what it is but the updating of stock on the online site items SUCKS!!! Can someone help me with this. Sometimes it will say saving for about 6-7 min and end up saying that it wasn't able to update...this happens OFTEN!
