Why is my online store not excepting payments? It says active and excepting payments but it is not.

Hello. I have set up my online store. It says active and accepting payments but it is not accepting payments. It says this location can to take online payments. Need help asap! Please

Hi, @AE45 ! Welcome to the Square Community! 

 

So on your website, it looks like you are selling a book? Is that correct? 

 

It looks like your site is set up to sell it as a service (think like hair salon) instead of an actual physical item. You will need to change your website to a site where you can sell items versus an online booking site.

 

To do this: 

  1. Go to Square Online

    • Log in to your Square Dashboard

    • Click on Online in the left-hand menu (this opens the Square Online builder)

  2. Select or Create a New Site

    • If you haven’t already created a Square Online site, follow the prompts to set it up

    • Choose a template that matches your business type 

        •  
  3. Redirect or Replace Your Booking Link

    • If your customers previously visited a Square Appointments link 

      • Redirect them to your new Square Online site
