I just sold the company to another coffee shop. They logged out of our Square Stand and logged in with their account. The cash drawer is not being recognized and a little gray text says a printer driven cash drawer is not acceptable. The system worked as normal 10 seconds before they signed in.
After the new owner signed in with their account did they setup the Hardware Devices (Receipt Printer, Cash Drawer, Chip Readers) for their account? Squares Hardware is not setup by the Hardware but is setup through Squares User accounts.
Go through the process of having the new owner connect each Hardware device as a New Hardware item and see if that helps.
