So If I have a client booked in on the appointments app and want to send their bill to them via invoice, I can't do it on the desktop. I have to use the iPhone app to go into appointments, send their appointment to invoice and then I can cash them out whether on my phone or my desktop.
This is super inefficient. We should be able to send the appointment to invoice on the desktop browser as well. I'm not sure why Square still has not done this.
Hey there, @ZAutoCare -
Normally, there isn't a way for the two services to overlap. Could you let me know what steps you're using to create the invoice from your appointments app? Any information or screenshots will help guide me!
I definitely understand the insufficiency with this setup, so I am going to suggest dropping this feedback in our Feature Request Board. This is a place where our Product Team can see the things our sellers are looking for and other sellers can add their voice to existing ideas.
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.
I send the invoices as we’re about to complete or complete the services for the client.
Hey Lukas, I know it's a platform restriction issue. Why it's still a platform restriction is beyond me, Square should've made this a seamless integration between the IOS app and desktop platforms time ago.
Right I understand but the 2 things I don't like about that is: 1) It won't reflect on the appointments app is that appointment won't reflect being cashed out and 2) having to manually punch in everything again on the invoice. Square should have the desktop platform the same as the app platform where you can click on the apportionment, and send it to invoice to cash out that appointment like you can on the app.
