Why can't I send an invoice from the desktop?

So If I have a client booked in on the appointments app and want to send their bill to them via invoice, I can't do it on the desktop. I have to use the iPhone app to go into appointments, send their appointment to invoice and then I can cash them out whether on my phone or my desktop.

 

This is super inefficient. We should be able to send the appointment to invoice on the desktop browser as well. I'm not sure why Square still has not done this.

You're absolutely right - it can definitely feel inefficient having to switch between device just to send an invoice from an appointment. Currently, at option to convert ian appointment directly into an invoice is only supported on the Square Appointment mobile app  (iOS/Android),and not yet on the desktop dashboard 

 

That said, a good workaround for now is not maturally created an invoice from your square dashboard on desktop by going to invoice 'n creating invoice, selecting the customer and manually adding the service or items from the appointment. It's not as seamless, but it ensure your billing still goes through without needing to use your phone 

 

I agree that adding the functionality to the desktop version would streamlin workflow for a lot of users.

I'd recommend submitting this as a future request  through the square feedback from(or 'feedback" option in your dashboard). The more user highlight this need.  the more likely it'll  be prioritize in a future  update.
