My internet had a gliche on Friday, November 13. My cashier did not know not to accept the offline payments. When internet restored, the credit card transactions came through as cash sale instead of credit card sale. Why? Internet was restored but the offline payment did not go through. Please advise.
If you are seeing that transactions were processed as cash transactions, this unfortunately means that they were also accepted as Cash transactions by the individual accepting payments. When a payment is entered into your Square Point of Sale app as cash, money for these transactions are expected to be exchanged directly between you and your customer and will not be transferred by Square, @CVM.
